Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has no intention of leaving Inter amid links to other clubs, according to a British media report today.

Reports emerged in the UK last weekend that suggested Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola had made Lukaku a target to replace the ageing Sergio Aguero.

As per the online edition of the Daily Express, however, Lukaku has no plans to leave Inter for City, who sit two points off the top of the Premier League behind rivals Manchester United.

When asked about the links to City, his representatives simply responded by stating that the news was “fantasy news.”

Lukaku has had an absolutely prolific time at Inter since joining in a club record transfer deal from United in the summer of 2019 and given his goal scoring, speculation over a possible return to the Premier League has been rife.

The 27-year-old has been in sublime form this season with him having scored 17 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions.

All in all for Inter, the former Chelsea forward, who is under contract until 2024, has made 74 appearances, in which he has 51 goals to his name as well as nine assists for his teammates.
