Inter striker Lautaro Martinez’s representatives are at the Nerazzurri’s headquarters this afternoon, as reported by the Italian media.

As per FCInterNews.it, who have shared a video of Beto Yaque and Rolando Zarate in Milan, they are there in all likelihood to discuss a contract extension for their client.

Yaque and Zarate were not initially expected to be in Milan until the beginning of February but it seems their appointment has been brought forward.

Any agreement to extend Lautaro’s stay with the Nerazzurri is unlikely to be made official until the end of the season, given Inter’s economic problems, but the striker recently told reporters he was confident talks would reach a positive conclusion.

Lautaro is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022-23 season and as part of his current deal he has a €111 million release clause, which is only able to be activated in the first fortnight of every July.

This season the Argentine international has made 25 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 10 goals and provided five assists.
