Christian Eriksen remains focused on earning more game time at Inter despite speculation over his future, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport, the Danish midfielder continues to train in a professional manner and was described as looking ‘fit and keen’ during yesterday’s 4-0 win in a training friendly against Serie C side Pro Sesto, in which he scored twice.

Eriksen is doing his best to win over Antonio Conte and hopes to be given a chance to play away at Udinese on Saturday, the exact fixture in which he made his league debut for the club on February 2 last year.

Conte has tried to get the best out of Eriksen by deploying him in various positions, but he is said to have not had many encouraging responses from the former Tottenham Hotspur player.

This season Eriksen, who is contracted to Inter until 2024, has made 14 appearances across all competitions to date, although he has failed to make any goal contributions whatsoever.
