Inter have been offered the chance to sign FC Porto midfielder Otavio on a free transfer this summer, according to an Italian media report today.

As per FCInterNews.it, intermediary Gabriele Giuffrida has offered the Brazilian to Inter and in the coming weeks the Nerazzurri will decide what to do with regard to Otavio, who is out of contract at the end of this season.

Inter chief executive Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are continuing to evaluate all opportunities on the transfer market and the situation involving Otavio could develop as soon as the Nerazzurri’s current corporate issues become clearer.

Otavio, who has been with FC Porto since 2014, has also drawn links to Arsenal and Leicester in other media reports and it is understood that he has no intention of staying with the Portuguese giants.

This season the 25-year-old, who has a Portuguese passport, has made 20 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided eight assists for his teammates.
