Inter’s most realistic chance of offloading Christian Eriksen before the end of January is a loan swap deal with Arsenal, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Tuttosport’s print edition, the Nerazzurri are studying the possibility of a deal that would see them exchange Eriksen with Gunners midfielder Lucas Torreira,

Torreira is on a season-long loan at Atletico Madrid but with the Uruguayan struggling for game time – albeit he did play 45 minutes in Atleti’s 2-1 win at Eibar last night – head coach Diego Simeone would not be opposed to letting him return to England early.

The report goes on to explain that Arsenal would welcome Eriksen with open arms because they need to replace Mesut Ozil, with Eriksen’s past at Tottenham Hotspur not expected to be a problem for anyone involved.

Spurs coach Jose Mourinho would be willing to re-sign Denmark international Eriksen on loan but TS say Inter would want a fee for that loan.
