Inter are adamant that any club wanting to sign Christian Eriksen on loan for the rest of the season must pay all his wages, according to an Italian media report today.

As per CalcioMercato.com, Leicester City and Eriksen’s former club Tottenham Hotspur are both keen on a deal for the midfielder, with rumours of interest from other clubs in the Premier League too.

Inter have been clear with both teams, however, that they must pay every penny of the €4 million Eriksen is due between now and the summer if they want him for six months.

Manchester United, who have also been linked with the struggling Denmark international, have meanwhile not been in contact with Inter chief executive Beppe Marotta or sporting director Piero Ausilio.

Eriksen has been widely tipped to leave Inter during this transfer window after a torrid year under Antonio Conte in which he has struggled for game time.

The 28-year-old has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season and has failed to make any goal contributions.
