Inter and Real Madrid have an agreement over a new payment schedule for the transfer fee of Achraf Hakimi according to a Spanish media report today.

As per Marca, the initially agreed conditions under which the fee would be paid have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and a few weeks ago the clubs held discussions and reached an amicable agreement over a new payment plan.

Marca have also dismissed recent media speculation that Real Madrid were demanding the immediate payment of the transfer fee for the Moroccan wing-back, who joined Inter in a deal totalling €45 million, including add-ons.

In fact, the relations between the two clubs are described as being perfect by this report.

Hakimi, who joined Inter on a five year contract, has starred during his brief stint in a Nerazzurri shirt thus far.

The 22-year-old has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored six goals and provided five assists.
