Inter Wing-Back Ashley Young: “We Want The Three Points, Not Thinking About AC Milan”

Inter’s English wing-back Ashley Young stopped by Italian broadcaster InterTV to share his thought’s on the Match Day 19 Serie A match away against Udinese at the Dacia Arena with kick-off scheduled for 18.00 CET.

The former Manchester United Player underlined that the Nerazzurri are fully focused on winning the 3 points in today’s match away against the Zebrette.

“We are already thinking about winning the match today against Udinese, which is a very important match. We want the three points.”

The former Watford player continued that the home side are not to be underestimated despite their position in the league standings and that Inter have to be fully concentrated throughout the duration of the match.

“They are fighting to avoid relegation and are looking to do well, we have to be ready for everything but thinking about ourselves and our own performance.

“We want to win and we hope to do so.”

In conclusion the former English international wing-back stated that the Nerazzurri believe in themselves and praised the teams unity as a big factor behind this.

“We believe a lot in ourselves. We are a good group, we want to win together and we are ready to fight to take the three points.”

Moments later he stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia adding that the Nerazzurri are fully focused on themselves and not crosstown rivals AC Milan who play Atalanta at the same time.

“This is only an opportunity to win three points. It will be tough, our objective is to win but we must not look at AC Milan

“We think only about ourselves and to win. We have to build on the win against Juventus, Udinese are strong but we are confident we can win again today.”

Ashley Young joined Inter in January of 2020 on an initial loan deal which was extended for a further year for a fee reportedly in the are of €1.5 million.

Since making the move Young has featured 39 times across all competitions scoring 4 goals in the process.
