Matias Vecino has not been included in Inter’s squad for this evening’s Serie A match away to Udinese according to an Italian newspaper report today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport, despite reports suggesting Vecino would be in the squad, the Uruguayan has not been selected although it is possible that he could be in the squad for Tuesday’s Coppa Italia match with AC Milan.

The former Fiorentina player has been out of action since July last year due to sustaining an injury that required surgery and involved a lengthy recovery process.

Whether Vecino will play against the Rossoneri in the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia remains to be seen but the report does claim that Inter coach Antonio Conte could make some turnover which could involve Alexis Sanchez starting the match.

Udinese versus Inter is scheduled to kick off at 18:00 local time today at the Dacia Arena in Udine and the match will pit 15th place against 2nd place.
