Inter target Papu Gomez will complete a move from Atalanta to Sevilla tomorrow in a deal that could be worth up to €8.5 million, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The two clubs have reached an agreement for a permanent deal worth €5.5 million plus €3 million in add-ons.

As per a report on Di Marzio‘s website, Atalanta and Sevilla are exchanging the final documents of their agreement tonight before Gomez completes a medical with the La Liga outfit tomorrow.

The 32-year-old midfielder will sign a three-and-a-half year deal with Sevilla.

Inter were heavily linked with a move for Gomez in January but the Argentine forward’s hopes of swapping one Nerazzurri club for another were always slim.

Atalanta have never shown any intention of dropping their asking price of €10 million, a fee Inter could not afford to offer, while they were also reportedly adamant throughout that they would not sell Gomez to a direct rival in Serie A.

Gomez made 252 appearances in six years playing for Atalanta, scoring 59 goals and providing 71 assists.
