Tottenham Hotspur could make a move to bring Christian Eriksen back to the club if Dele Alli is to depart for Paris Saint-Germain, according to a French broadcaster’s report this afternoon.

As per RMC Sport, before agreeing to let Alli leave, Spurs need to find a replacement first and that replacement could well be Eriksen, who has struggled since joining Inter a year ago from the north London club – but a deal is complicated.

Spurs would have to come to an agreement with the 28-year-old Denmark international over wages, something that reportedly caused Leicester City to take a step back in their pursuit of him, with Eriksen said to be earning £300,000 a week.

In addition to this, they would have to come to an agreement with Inter over Eriksen, who they sold to them in a circa €20 million deal.

This season Eriksen has made 14 appearances across all competitions to date but he has completely failed to make any goal contributions when on the field.
