Matias Vecino has refused any possibility of a move to Torino and will stay with Inter for the rest of the season, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Tuttosport, the Uruguayan midfielder will not be a reinforcement for the Granata, who will be forced to turn their attention elsewhere.

Torino previously showed an interest in signing Vecino but back then he said no to any move, and he has not changed his mind over a possible switch to the club who play at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Vecino is just coming back from a long-term injury and although he is far from first choice in Inter coach Antonio Conte’s team, he does not want to move to Torino and wishes to remain with Inter, who he has been with since 2017.

The 28-year-old has not featured once this season due to injury but has made 96 appearances in total for the club, in which he has scored 11 goals and tallied six assists.
