Christian Eriksen was Inter’s joint-best performing player in last night’s Coppa Italia quarter-final win over AC Milan, according to an Italian media report today.
Eriksen only came on in the 88th minute of the match in place of Marcelo Brozovic but produced a moment of magic that won the game for the Nerazzurri.
The 28-year-old Denmark international scored what proved to be the winner for Antonio Conte’s side with a trademark free-kick deep into injury time and as part of their player ratings, Gazzetta dello Sport have rated Eriksen’s performance 7.5/10.
Nicolo Barella also received the same rating as the former Ajax player for his performance as Inter secured their place in the semi-finals, where they will take on either Juventus or SPAL.
Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Achraf Hakimi, Arturo Vidal and Marcelo Brozovic all received ratings of 6.5/10 while all defenders received ratings of 6/10, as did Lautaro Martinez and Ivan Perisic.
The worst performing player on the night for Inter was said to be Matteo Darmian, who was rated just 5/10 after being taken off at half-time.
