Lautaro Martinez is set to sign a contract extension with Inter that will keep him with the club until 2024, an Italian media report confirmed today.

As per TuttoMercatoWeb, everything is practically sorted as far as a new deal is concerned and tomorrow there will be another meeting between the parties after which the contract will be signed.

As things currently stand, the 23-year-old forward currently earns less than Andrea Pinamonti despite playing a far more pivotal role in the team than the Italian youth international, but he will earn more than Pinamonti after signing the new deal.

Lautaro has been with Inter since joining from Racing Club in 2018 and has grown from strength to strength in the time since, establishing himself as one of the best young strikers around in Europe.

This season Lautaro has made 27 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 10 goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
