Fabrizio Pasqua has been appointed as the referee for Inter’s Serie A match at home to Benevento on Saturday.

The 38-year-old referee, who has refereed in Serie A since 2013, will have Salvatore Longo and Edoardo Raspollini as his assistants at San Siro whilst Matteo Gariglio will both the fourth official for the match.

Gianpaolo Calvarese will be in charge of VAR and Mauro Galetto will be alongside to assist him this weekend.

Kick off at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza is scheduled for 20:45 local time.

Pasqua will be refereeing his 11th match across all competitions this season when he referees the match between the current second and 11th placed sides.

It will be the second time he referees Inter this term having overseen their 3-1 away win to Cagliari back in December, while it will be his third time refereeing Benevento.

Pasqua refereed Pippo Inzaghi’s side when they secured a 1-1 draw against reigning Italian champions Juventus on matchday 9, as well as for their matchday 15 loss to AC Milan.
