Inter and Roma are hoping to agree a loan swap deal involving Alexis Sanchez and Edin Dzeko today, according to an Italian broadcasters report today.

The two clubs engaged in talks yesterday and will continue negotiations today, with Roma’s sporting director Tiago Pinto still in Milan.

As per a report from Sky Sport Italia, if a deal is agreed upon, there could be further movement in Inter’s attacking department before the transfer window closes in the coming days.

Should Dzeko go on to arrive at Inter, the Nerazzurri could possibly decide to loan out Andrea Pinamonti in order to allow him to play consistently, seeing as the Italy under-21 international has been limited to just three appearances across all competitions this season.

If Inter do loan Pinamonti out, a new fourth-choice striker could arrive at the club and that player could well be their former forward Eder, who is on the way out of Inter’s sister club FC Jiangsu and represents a low-cost option.
