Inter look set to miss out on signing Slovenian under-17 international Enej Marsetic, according to an Italian newspaper report today.

As per Corriere dello Sport’s print edition, the Nerazzurri’s fellow Serie A club Parma have swooped and are very close to securing the talented forward’s services.

Inter are currently suffering from financial problems for various reasons and as a result this is having an impact even on minor transfer dealings.

Marsetic has already undergone a medical with Inter and just last week it was reported that the Nerazzurri would pay his club FC Koper €500,000 to sign him.

However, this report explains that there is no money with which to pay to sign him and therefore he will end up at Parma instead.

The 16-year-old forward, who is part of FC Koper’s under-19 side, has in fact already put ‘Inter’ in to his Instagram bio, but this report would suggest that Marsetic will have to make a change to that shortly.
