Inter coach Antonio Conte is set to recall a number of players who were benched for the Coppa Italia Quarter-Final triumph over AC Milan in midweek, as they take on Benevento.
The Nerazzurri take on the newly promoted club at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza tonight, looking to build on a last-gasp victory in a fiery encounter against Milan on Wednesday.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte will recall Hakimi at right wing-back and throw Martinez in up front from the start, despite the visit of Juventus in the first leg of the Coppa Italia Semi-Final on Tuesday.
Elsewhere, Andrea Ranocchia comes in for Stefan De Vrij at the heart of the defence, whilst midfielder Arturo Vidal drops to the bench in favour of Roberto Gagliardini.
Samir Handanovic will remain in goal, in front of a defensive trio of Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni either side of Ranocchia.
With Hakimi returning to the wing, Ivan Perisic will start on the opposite flank and Gagliardini will be joined by Nicolo Barella and Wednesday’s match-winner Christian Eriksen in the middle.
Meanwhile, Martinez replaces Alexis Sanchez in the starting line-up and links up with Romelu Lukaku, who is suspended for the match against Juventus.
