Inter coach Antonio Conte should find a way to fit both Christian Eriksen and Marcelo Brozovic into his midfield, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin.

Denmark international Eriksen was afforded a rare start in Brozovic’s deep midfield role during yesterday’s Serie A match against Benevento, and starred as the Nerazzurri eased to a 4-0 win.

In addition to setting up the opener by forcing an own goal from Riccardo Improta, Eriksen hit the crossbar and drew praise for his passing range and control in midfield.

With Brozovic likely to return to that position against Juventus in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday, Biasin claimed that Conte ought to find a way to complement the pair into his midfield together and that there was no need for them to compete against each other.

Biasin took to Twitter to express his opinion that the two players offered different qualities and could form the base of the midfield alongside Nicolo Barella.

“There shouldn’t be any rivalry between Eriksen and Brozovic, because Brozovic is very strong and Eriksen is Eriksen. In my personal opinion it would be good to play them together. With Barella of course,” Biasin posted.
