Inter’s Argentinian international striker Lautaro Martinez has reached an important landmark thanks to his goal against Benevento.
This according to football stats outlet OPTA who tweeted that the former Racing Avellanada man is the youngest player in the Serie A to reach double figures in goals scored in the league this season.
Inter won the match 4-0 thanks to a brace from Romelu Lukaku as well as a goal from Lautaro Martinez with Improta breaking the deadlock with an own-goal following a Christian Eriksen set piece.
The Nerazzurri now sit in second place in the Serie A Standings with 44 points, just 2 shy of cross-town rival AC Milan on 46 who defeated Bologna away yesterday afternoon by 2-1.
