After a move to Inter seemingly collapsed on Friday, the agent of Roma striker Edin Dzeko is determined to revive the deal and send his client to the Nerazzurri.

Bosnia international Dzeko has been frozen out by Roma after his relationship with coach Paulo Fonseca deteriorated and the Giallorossi had hoped to offload him to Inter last week.

Negotiations over an exchange for Nerazzurri forward Alexis Sanchez came to nothing as Inter were unwilling to pay the additional costs of Dzeko’s wages and the deal ultimately collapsed.

According to FCInternews.it, Dzeko’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, will make a final effort to convince the two clubs to revisit the transfer before tomorrow’s deadline.

Any hopes of it being successful rest on Roma being willing to pay the difference in Dzeko and Sanchez’s wages and for the deal to be weighted towards them in a different manner.

However, with Fonseca unwilling to reintegrate Dzeko into his squad it is felt that a deal with Inter is the only way for Roma to overcome the issue with the striker.
