Aleksandar Kolarov is favourite over Alessandro Bastoni to start for Inter tomorrow in the Coppa Italia against Juventus, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Tuttosport’s print edition, the Serbian will likely play alongside Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar in Antonio Conte’s three-man defence at the expense of Bastoni, who played the full 90 minutes against Benevento at the weekend, unlike De Vrij or Skriniar.

Kolarov coming in would be just one of many changes that Conte is planning for the semi-final first leg at San Siro, although two of those are forced on him.

With Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku suspended after picking up yellow cards against AC Milan, the former Italian national team coach will replace them with Matteo Darmian and Alexis Sanchez respectively.

The report from the Turin-based news outlet goes on to add that Conte will go with a midfield three of Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Arturo Vidal.

Inter’s probable starting XI vs Juventus (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Kolarov; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Vidal, Young; Lautaro, Sanchez.
