Inter have two goalkeepers in mind as potential replacements for Samir Handanovic, according to Italian journalist and Nerazzurri supporter Fabrizio Biasin.
Handanovic has come in for plenty of criticism this season due to his error-strewn performances, with Biasin among his recent critics following the Slovenian’s mistake in Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat to Juventus in the Coppa Italia.
In his latest editorial piece for Italian daily newspaper Libero, Biasin highlighted some possible heirs to Handanovic, albeit he refused to let himself get too carried away given Inter’s current financial situation.
“In the future Inter could sign Juan Musso, the current Udinese goalkeeper, while others speak about Cagliari’s Alessio Cragno, who like Musso is also 26 years old,” he wrote.
“But at the moment it is impossible to make any kind of suggestion because the Zhang family are leaving Inter soon, and until the club’s corporate issue are resolved not a single euro will be spent.”
Inter’s current owners Suning are widely reported to be in talks to sell the club and while BC Partners have made an offer, they are not the only group interested in making an investment.
Musso and Cragno both impressed during their matches against Inter earlier this season, with the Argentine helping Udinese secure a goalless draw against the Nerazzurri two weeks ago.
