Suning & BC Partners Talks Over Inter Sale Not Dead Yet, Italian Media Claim

Suning’s talks with BC Partners over the sale of Inter are not completely dead yet, according to an Italian media report today.

Negotiations appeared to be going well before reportedly being halted by Nerazzurri president Steven Zhang last week, with Suning claiming the conditions for negotiations to continue did not exist.

A source close to BC Partners, however, has told CalcioMercato.com that negotiations are not finished between the parties, despite there being a great distance between their valuations for Inter.

They also revealed company chiefs were unimpressed with rumours that Suning had ended talks after becoming frustrated at how the British-based firm had managed speculation in the media.

BC Partners have reportedly made an offer for Inter but they are far from alone in wanting to buy into the club, with a host of other funds having been linked with potential investments.

EQT, Temasek, Ares Management, Arctos Sports Partners, Fortress and Mubadala are among the groups thought to be interested should BC Partners fail to agree a deal with Suning.
