Inter have a chance to redeem themselves against Fiorentina tonight after their defeat to Juventus in midweek, at least in the eyes of Nerazzurri striker Andrea Pinamonti.

Antonio Conte’s side are due to take on the Viola in half an hour’s time in Florence and it will be the third time that the sides meet this season, with Cesare Prandelli’s side at home for the second time.

In an interview with Inter’s official club broadcaster Inter TV prior to the game, Pinamonti admitted that playing away to Fiorentina is difficult for every side, not just Inter.

“Is the Stadio Artemio Franchi a difficult place to come? I think that playing here is difficult for everyone, not just for us, because Fiorentina are a great team,” the Italy under-21 international explained.

“We just have to think about doing our best to get to the three points necessary for our season.”

Pinamonti was then asked whether the fact that this game comes so soon after Inter’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg loss to Juventus could impact tonight’s match.

“This is the beauty of football,” he argued.

“We played a few days ago against Juve and lost but now we have the opportunity to redeem ourselves.”

In a follow up interview with Sky Sport Italia, he spoke on the importance of this match plus learning from Romelu Lukaku.

“This is a very important match because we come into it off the back of a defeat in the Coppa Italia so we want to redeem ourselves and continue our journey.

“You can learn everything from Lukaku, I can only learn from someone like him.

“He gives me lots of advice in training, he is a complete player.

“He, like everyone at Inter, is a great player.”

Pinamonti, who has been limited to just five substitute appearances this season, once again finds himself among the substitutes for this match.
