Inter central midfielder Nicolo Barella is having a record-breaking season from a personal point of view, Opta have highlighted off the back of the Nerazzurri’s win over Fiorentina.
Barella scored Inter’s opening goal in their 2-0 win away to the Viola last night, taking his goal contribution tally to eight for the season in Serie A.
The 23-year-old Italian international has scored three goals and has also provided his teammates with a total of five assists as well.
Barella has never been involved in so many goals during a single league campaign, and there are still 17 games remaining for him to add to his tally.
