Inter defeated Fiorentina away at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence by 2-0 recording their first double win in one Serie A season over the Viola since 2013/2014.
The Nerazzurri took control from the start and should have taken the lead if not for a miraculous save from Dragowski to deny Nicolo Barella from close range.
However, the Fiorentina goalkeeper could do nothing when Nicolo Barella sent a rocket into the far corner to break the deadlock midway through the first half.
In the second half, Achraf Hakimi went on one of his trademark unstoppable runs down the right hand side serving Ivan Perisic who doubled the Nerazzurri’s lead.
Inter continued to pile on the pressure and create chances but were unable to score and the match ended in a 0-2 win for the away side.
