Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo is expecting a tough encounter against Inter in the second leg of the Coppa Italia Semi-Final on Tuesday.
The Bianconeri go into the match at the Allianz Stadium with a 2-1 advantage after Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace had overturned Lautaro Martinez’s early goal for Inter last week.
Speaking in his post match press conference after Juventus had earned a 2-0 Serie A victory over Roma yesterday, Pirlo admitted that he was preparing for a difficult match against Inter, after the Nerazzurri themselves had beaten Fiorentina by the same score on Friday.
“I saw Inter’s win over Fiorentina and my impression was the same as always, they are a strong team but we have known that from the beginning,” the former AC Milan midfielder declared.
“It will be a battle on Tuesday and we hope to have Paulo Dybala available. He has trained this week and should be back soon.”
Inter are looking to overturn their first leg defeat and reach the Coppa Italia Final for the first time since 2011, when they lifted the trophy.
The winners of the tie will face one of Atalanta or holders Napoli in the Final at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in May, with the pair playing out a goalless draw in their first leg of their Semi-Final.
