BC Partners Could Increase Inter Offer This Week But Ares Also In Contention, Italian Media Claim

BC Partners’ offer to Suning to buy Inter could rise this week, according to an Italian newspaper report.
As per Monday’s print edition of Corriere della Sera, during the course of the week there could be developments in the negotiations between the parties as Suning seek fresh investment.
BC Partners have already made an offer of €750 million for Inter but this could be increased, although the report does not specify by how much.
American investment fund Ares meanwhile remain interested in potential investment into the Nerazzurri, who are suffering from a lack of liquidity at this moment in time for various reasons.
The Milan-based publication goes on to explain that Suning have committed themselves to honouring all financial commitments in 2021, and are continuing their search to find a minority shareholder in the club to help them through this delicate moment.
In addition to both BC Partners and Ares, a host of other funds have also been linked with potential investment into Inter such as EQT, Bain Capital and Arctos Sports Partners.
