Antonio Conte has urged his Inter players not to repeat last week’s mistakes when they face Juventus in the Coppa Italia tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri must overturn a 2-1 deficit at the Allianz Stadium after an error-strewn performance gifted Juventus victory in Milan last Tuesday.

Speaking to Inter’s in-house TV channel tonight, Conte laid out the sort of match he expected against the Bianconeri in Turin.

“I expect a strong Juventus performance, this is beyond any doubt,” he told Inter TV.

“Regardless of whatever myself or the team expect from the game, we need to focus on what we’ve prepared and what we’ve worked on during the last two days.

“We need to put that into practice in the best way possible, we’ll have to play a match with very little margin for error.”

Lautaro Martinez gave Inter an early lead at San Siro last week, before Ashley Young conceded a penalty following a VAR review to allow Cristiano Ronaldo to equalise.

Samir Handanovic and Alessandro Bastoni then let Ronaldo in to score his second after a mix-up outside Inter’s box, with the Nerazzurri unable to find a leveller despite numerous chances in the second half.

The winner of tomorrow’s tie will meet Napoli or Atalanta in May, with the final due to be held at San Siro.
