Antonio Conte will need Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez at their best tomorrow if Inter are to knock Juventus out of the Coppa Italia, an Italian media report explained today.

The Nerazzurri head into tomorrow’s semi-final second leg trailing 2-1 and must score twice in Turin to stand any chance at making it into the final.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, Lukaku and Lautaro have formed the best partnership in Serie A this season with them being the only partnership to both be in double figures.

With Lukaku and Lautaro on the pitch together this season, Inter have won 17 of 27 games and scored an average of 2.1 goals per game in this time.

Inter were forced to do without Lukaku in last week’s first leg at San Siro and fell to a 2-1 defeat, albeit Lautaro and Alexis Sanchez did combine to score the opening goal.

Conte’s side have won just once in six games this season when the Belgian has played fewer than 30 minutes.
