Inter could sell Ivan Perisic at the end of the season if he performs well between now and then, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport‘s online edition, with the exception of Achraf Hakimi, Perisic is the only wing-back in the Nerazzurri’s squad whose contract is not expiring at the end of this season, but this does not necessarily mean he will stay.

Inter are hopeful that Perisic can be useful to Antonio Conte’s cause until May, but if he performs well in the remainder of the season he could attract interest from top clubs willing who are willing to satisfy Inter’s demands for the Croatian.

The 32-year-old, who is under contract until the end of next season, earns €5 million net a year, a heavy salary for Inter to support in such a difficult financial period for the club.

Perisic has scored three goals and provided three assists in 28 appearances so far this season.

Hertha Berlin, Borussia Dortmund and Everton were all linked with moves for the former Bayern Munich man in January.
