Ivan Perisic could retain his place in the Inter starting line-up for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg clash with Juventus, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, Perisic’s goal in the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 win over Fiorentina on Friday has boosted his chances of staying in the team to face Juve at the Allianz Stadium.

Ashley Young is thought to still be the favourite to play at left wing-back, however, despite the Englishman’s poor performance in last week’s first leg.

More certain is Roberto Gagliardini’s return to the starting XI, with the Italian set to replace the suspended Arturo Vidal in midfield.

Vidal also has an injury contend with which makes the Chilean a doubt for Sunday’s Serie A clash at home to Lazio.

The coming days will be decisive in determining when he could make a return to action, according to the Milanese publication, with Vidal hoping to shake off a knee problem in time to face the Biancoceleste.

Juventus versus Inter is scheduled to kick-off at 20:45 local time tomorrow, with Antonio Conte’s side needing to score twice to stand any chance of progressing to the final.
