Inter boss Antonio Conte was involved in a verbal scuffle with Juventus president Andrea Agnelli following tonight’s Coppa Italia clash, according to a leading Italian broadcaster.

As per Sky Sport Italia, the tension at the Allianz Stadium began during the first half of the Nerazzurri’s semi-final second leg, with some bickering between Conte and Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci.

Following this, there was also some controversy at the end of the first half as both benches had a scuffle in which Agnelli was said to be involved.

Things got even more heated at full time, though, when Agnelli ended up in a row with Conte and former Juventus executive and current Inter chief executive Beppe Marotta.

There was also tension which spilled over between the two sets of players, although no further details were offered in Sky’s report.

Juventus have advanced to the final of the Coppa Italia at Inter’s expense following a 2-1 aggregate victory, after a goalless draw in Turin, and will face the winner of Atalanta versus Napoli.
