Former AC Milan manager Fabio Capello has backed his former side to go all the way and seal the title this season. however he is impressed by city rivals Inter.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia yesterday afternoon, former Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello said he believed AC Milan have what it takes to continue in their current form until the end of the season.

Capello added that the Rossoneri can win the Scudetto for the first time since 2011 but admitted he had seen improvement in Antonio Conte’s Inter side as well.

“[Milan] have got to where they are with huge absences so I think they can aim for the title.

“I see a more robust and mature Inter than ever, with a midfield that the right side of can make the difference, with Barella and Hakimi” the former Roma and Juventus coach declared.

AC Milan are being very closely chased by cross town rivals Inter who sit just two points behind the Rossoneri in the Serie A standings.

AC Milan have surprised most people this season with an on going desire to win every week led by former Inter coach Stefano Pioli however must keep up that form to reach silverware, with Inter hot on their heels.
