Romelu Lukaku was the worst player on the pitch for Inter in last night’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg draw with Juventus, according to Italian media.

The Belgian striker had a performance to forget as Antonio Conte’s side crashed out of the Coppa Italia following a 2-1 aggregate loss, being handed a rating of just 5/10 by Corriere dello Sport.

The Rome-based publication said Lukaku was missing ‘his usual strength, his usual determination and his usual threat in the opposition box’.

“He needed to make use of his physical strength in the second half when Inter were camped in the Bianconeri’s box,” they wrote.

“He needed to help create space for Lautaro Martinez, and instead he did nothing.”

At the opposite end of the ratings scale, Samir Handanovic was said to be the Nerazzurri’s best performer at the Allianz Stadium with the Slovenian coming out on top of his individual battle with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Handanovic made two big saves on the Portuguese international and was rewarded with a rating of 7.5/10.

Achraf Hakimi and Nicolo Barella were rated 7/10 while Milan Skriniar, Aleksandar Kolarov, Stefano Sensi and coach Antonio Conte were all rated 6.5/10.

Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni, Marcelo Brozovic and Matteo Darmian were rated 6/10 and Christian Eriksen and Lautaro were both rated 5.5/10.
