Lazio will start Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina on Sunday against Inter and hope that his streak of five career wins over the Nerazzurri can be increased, Italian media report.

According to today’s print edition of Tuttosport, Lazio will start with Pepe Reina in between the sticks when they face Inter this Sunday in a huge Serie A clash at the San Siro.

The former Liverpool and Napoli shot stopper boasts an impressive record when facing Inter throughout his career.

Reina has played against the Nerazzurri on ten occasions, winning five of which and losing only twice with both defeats coming in his Napoli days.

One of the defeats while representing Napoli came in the Coppa Italia in 2016 with the Spaniard being beaten twice in the game with goals from Stefan Jovetic and Adem Ljajić for the Nerazzurri.

The second being a league fixture with World Cup winning goalkeeper being beaten by Mauro Icardi and Marcelo Brozovic.

Lazio are the third Italian club Pepe Reina has played for after spells with both Napoli and AC Milan, the Spaniard will be hopeful of continuing his impressive record against Inter this Sunday.
