Inter are in contact with the representatives of Lyon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, according to a French news outlet today.

As per FootMercato.net, there is contact between the Nerazzurri management and some representatives of the Brazilian, in particular Giuliano Bertolucci, although Inter’s current financial situation means agreeing a deal in the near future would be very difficult.

Inter are not the only club to have been linked with Guimaraes, with English and Spanish clubs linked, but Lyon have denied there being any interest in the former Atletico Paranaense player.

In fact, Lyon have denied any knowledge of any enquiries having been made for Guimaraes, especially those from Inter.

23-year-old Guimaraes, who has been with Lyon for the past year, has made 21 appearances across all competitions to date this season.

In his time on the park, the one-time Brazilian national team representative has scored one goal and also provided a total of two assists for his teammates in Ligue 1.
