Inter’s next visit to play Juventus at the Allianz Stadium is unlikely to be a low-key affair, as highlighted by one leading Italian journalist on Wednesday.

The sides have met three times already this season and the most recent fixture on Tuesday was very heated, with Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte at the centre of a row with Juve president Andrea Agnelli during their Coppa Italia semi-final second leg.

The final Derby d’Italia of the season promises to be even more dramatic, however, with the match scheduled for round 37 of the 2020-21 season.

La Repubblica reporter Franco Vanni sarcastically tweeted: “The next Juventus-Inter will be played on May 16.

“The penultimate weekend of the Serie A season.

“Perhaps with fans inside the Stadium (at least a few of them).

“I foresee a calm atmosphere…”
