Alexis Sanchez could start for Inter in this weekend’s crunch Serie A match at home to Lazio, according to an Italian media report today.

PassioneInter.com claim that the Chilean could come into Antonio Conte’s line-up in place of Lautaro Martinez, to allow the Argentine international forward to have a rest in view of next weekend’s Milan derby with AC Milan.

Elsewhere, it is between Roberto Gagliardini and Arturo Vidal for the final spot in the midfield alongside Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella.

Vidal has recovered from the bruise to the knee he sustained at Fiorentina last week but should start on the bench against Simone Inzaghi’s side at San Siro.

Conte’s third and final dilemma regards the left wing-back spot, where Ashley Young is expected to come back into the side after Matteo Darman started Tuesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg at Juventus.

Inter’s probable starting line-up vs Lazio (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Hakimi, Barella, Brozovic, Gagliardini, Young; Lukaku, Sanchez.
