Inter Coach Antonio Conte Rules Out Arturo Vidal From Serie A Clash With Lazio Tomorrow Due To Injury

Antonio Conte has ruled out Arturo Vidal being involved in tomorrows matchday squad when Inter face Lazio.

According to Antonio Conte, speaking in Inter ‘s official press conference ahead of tomorrows clash with Lazio, Arturo Vidal will miss out due to his knee injury, as reported by Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

Vidal is not available, he continues to have problems and I don’t know if he will be ready for the next one.

Arturo must try to recover the best condition because he is carrying different injuries. It is right that he overcomes period” explained Conte.

It was reported Vidal had returned to the grass yesterday and was in contention of making the matchday squad for tomorrow’s fixture vs Lazio however this will not be the case.

Conte will not be short of midfield replacements with Roberto Gagliardini is set to start the game.

Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella, who are normally cemented in the starting eleven both risk being suspended for the Milan derby if they receive a booking tomorrow.

Conte is left with the options of Stefano Sensi and Christian Eriksen outside of the five midfielders already mentioned.

Antonio and his management team will need to assess the options they have for the midfield three while trying to avoid the risk of having Barella or Brozovic suspended for the derby
