Former AC Milan, Chelsea, Inter and Lazio striker Hernan Crespo has expressed his admiration for Nerazzurri striker and fellow Argentine Lautaro Martinez.

In an interview in today’s print edition of Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, Hernan Crespo gave his thoughts ahead of the clash between two of his former sides tomorrow at the San Siro.

I like Lautaro Martinez, I think he’s the most technical of all those of  Inter and Lazio.

“And I’m not saying this just because he’s Argentine, he has incredible room for improvement and has not yet expressed his full potential.

“I wouldn’t have minded playing with him,” expressed the former Chelsea and AC Milan striker.

Crespo then continued by praising the former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku whom he holds in high regards as well although being different from Lautaro Martinez.

They are different but they both score with incredible frequency. It is not easy to keep their pace of scoring in a championship.

“Lukaku is a driving force, the team relies on him when he has to go forward. In the penalty area he is ruthless.

“The continuity with which he scores is crazy ” said Crespo on Inter striker Romelu Lukaku.

Hernan Crespo was a legendary striker in his day scoring goals throughout his career for many elite clubs in Europe, so his opinions on Inter’s forward Lukaku will be welcomed by the Belgium number 9.

When the two sides face off tomorrow their two star strikers Romelu Lukaku and Ciro Immobile will be on show to try and outperform each other and make progress in the Capocannoniere race.
