Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi claims Inter along with Juventus are favourites for the Scudetto, Italian media report.
Speaking to gathered press for Lazio’s pre match press conference ahead of tomorrows clash with Inter, Inzaghi stated Inter are one of the favourites to win the title at the end of the season, as reported by Italian media outlet FcInterNews.
“They are a great team, they are the favourites with Juventus to win the Scudetto, even if AC Milan are doing well.
“They will be an angry team after the elimination of the Italian Cup,” predicted Inzaghi.
“Match against Inter is very important. We know what moment we are in, we are in form and we know our opponents.
“We have to give a performance with determination. Our great objective was to qualify from the group stage of the Champions League.
“Now, we want to stay in that competition also next year. That is our Scudetto.”
Inter and Lazio face off tomorrow night in which could prove to be a huge game for both sides with Inter striving for the title and Lazio wanting a place in next seasons Champions League.
Inzaghi will be aware that his side travel to San Siro to face an impressive Inter team who have a good record at home so will need to be on the ball to take anything away from San Siro.
Inter also face a tough task in welcoming Lazio tomorrow night, Inter are now in a position where any dropped points could prove fatal in the push for the Scudetto.
