Italian Journalist Mario Sconcerti was full of praise for Inter’s two youngsters Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolo Barella.

Speaking to Italian media outlet TMW, Sconcerti picked out the two Inter players he was impressed with this season.

I have always liked Barella but it is not a surprise even if he has yet to finish completing himself.

“I also like Bastoni a lot, who must finish learning to stay on the pitch. He controls the opponent, space and with a refinement that has rarely been seen, reminds me of a young Bonucci.”

Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolo Barella have been two of Inter’s outstanding performers this season and it is no surprise to see the pair being praised publicly by people in the industry.

Bastoni has cemented his place in Conte’s back three this season alongside Milan Skriniar and Stefan De Vrij with impressive performances from the youngster.

Nicolo Barella has also implemented his name on Conte’s team sheet this season after impressing last season and slotting nicely into the midfield three alongside Marcelo Brozovic and Arturo Vidal.

Bastoni and Barella could prove vital to Conte and to Inter in their run up to the end of the season as they strive towards the title.

Inter face stiff competition from Juventus and AC Milan however with key players such as Bastoni and Barella performing as they are, they could go on and do it.
