Italian Journalist Matteo Marani has waded in with his thoughts on the title race claiming Juventus are clear favourites for the title.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia ahead of the Napoli hosting Juventus, the journalist expressed his belief that Juventus will be the ones who win the title race this season, as reported by FcInterNews.
“Juventus is now more cautious, which is helped a lot by the midfield, who are giving a hand in covering to the defence. Juve are clearly the best in the league, more so than Inter and AC Milan.
“I’ve always thought so, the numbers are realigning, they defends well, face few shots and when they do there is Szczesny who is an excellent goalkeeper.
It also has squad strength in depth that no one has in Italy” claimed Marani.
Inter, Milan and Juventus are the three clubs at the top of the table striving towards the end goal of winning the title in May.
Juventus have dominated the Serie A table for the past eight years but face strong competition this season from the two previous Scudetto winners before Juve’s dominance in the two Milan clubs.
The top three positions are very tight points wise and a slip up from any of the three could prove costly in allowing the Scudetto to become out of reach, the title is there for the taking for the three contenders.
