Suning are edging closer to finding an agreement for the sale of the Nerazzurri to interested party BC Partners, Italian media report.

According to today’s print edition of the Corriere della Sera, the two parties are closer to finding an agreement on a price for the sale of Inter than they previously were.

Suning’s initial request of €1 billion and BC’s valuation of €750 million could be met in the middle with an agreed fee of €850 million to sell the club to BC Partners, the report continues.

Suning have encountered financial issues recently and are said to be looking to sell the club or at least introduce a minority shareholder to inject some cash into the club.

American company Ares are also said to be interested in buying the 30% stake in Inter currently owned by Lion Rock Capital.

As the pressure mounts on Suning to continue paying the bills they will be becoming even more anxious to come to an agreement with interested parties and get this issue resolved.
