Former Inter defender Massimo Paganin believes tonight’s fixture between Inter and Lazio will be decided by individual brilliance.
Speaking to Inter’s official Match Day Programme ahead of the Lazio clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza tonight, Paganin believes individual brilliance could be a factor in which side will come out on top, as reported by FcInterNews.
“It will be a match that will be played by both teams as a collective, but individual brilliance could make the difference.
“Lazio is a team that has had the same players for a long time, but they have taken on an important goalkeeper like Reina who is able to build from the ground up and give a very big hand in the creation phase of the game.
“Milinkovic-Savic is the player who he made the most assists, 7, moving between the midfield line and the attacking line, while the other two outside Marusic and Lazzari have made 4 and 5 respectively.
“So the biggest dangers to Inter come from the wide areas,” analysed Paganin.
Inter will no doubt face a tough test when they welcome Lazio to the San Siro this evening as both teams look to build on their good form in the league.
Inter are faced with the opportunity of going top of the Serie A if they can defeat Lazio this evening after cross town rivals AC Milan surprisingly lost to Spezia last night.
Lazio, on the other hand, need to maintain their winning form in order not to lose ground on Napoli and Roma who both won this weekend, in the race to finish top 4, which would guarantee a place in the group stages of next season’s Champions League.
