Fiorentina Coach Cesare Prandelli: “We Always Look For Continuity But It’s Difficult When You Play Teams Like Inter”

Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli praised Inter ahead of today’s Serie A match against Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria.

Speaking to gathered press at Fiorentina’s official pre match press conference, Prandelli described the difficulty of facing teams like Inter, as reported by FcInterNews.

“I’m optimistic because the data that arrives is excellent. Obviously we always look for continuity, even if when you meet teams like Inter it becomes complicated.

“We have to keep working, but from the point of view of the way we face the matches, this team has acquired the right mentality” said Prandelli.

Fiorentina face Sampdoria today on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Inter in the last Serie A outing for La Viola.

Inter picked up three points when they traveled to Florence last week defeating Fiorentina 2-0.

Goals from Nicolo Barella and Ivan Perisic gave the Nerazzurri the win in a game which Inter looked comfortable throughout.

The Nerazzurri face another test tomorrow when they host Lazio in the San Siro in search of yet another three points to help them on their title charge.

Inter sit in second place in the Serie A table just two points behind rivals AC Milan who take first place as things stand.

Depending on AC Milan’s result this evening Inter could take top spot with a victory tomorrow.
