Italian Journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen has done little since his move from Tottenham Hotspurs but that his potential is why Inter fans love him.

Speaking on Twitter from his personal account, Biasin made an evaluation on the Danish international on his 29th birthday.

Since he has been at Inter he has done little, especially if we consider his potential, yet most of the fans love him because they know that players like that don’t grow on trees and because they understand what kind of person he is.

“Happy birthday Eriksen” tweeted Biasin.

Eriksen arrived at Inter last January after a successful spell in England with Tottenham Hotspurs.

The Danish midfielder has had a mixed experience in Milan being in and out of the team and struggling for a real run of consecutive starts.

The Dane’s experience has not been all negative though, with the recent free-kick goal against AC Milan in the dyeing minutes of the Coppa Italia quarter final.

Having started on Tuesday night and reports of another start tonight against Lazio, there is an opportunity for Eriksen to make a case to Antonio Conte that he should be a regular starter in the Inter midfield in their charge for the Scudetto.

Eriksen could celebrate his 29th birthday with three huge points this evening as Inter host Lazio at the San Siro.
