Legendary Lazio Captain Giuseppe Wilson believes Lazio could capitalise on a demoralized Inter side this evening when they face each other at the San Siro.

According to Italian media outlet LaLazioSiamoNoi Wilson expressed he felt Inter’s recent disappointment could allow Lazio to snatch all three points in the San Siro.

I think there are the conditions to do well in Milan. Conte’s men have already suffered a first setback leaving the Champions League.

“Now that they have been eliminated from the Italian Cup against their long-time rival they could suffer another setback” said Wilson when assessing his former team’s chances when they face Inter this evening.

In the long run it will benefit them because they will no longer have midweek commitments, but right now they are not expressing the game the way that Lazio or Atalanta are.

“Obviously they have strong personalities and have achieved so many results, to the point of being second in the standings, but I have no doubts: I would not trade with any of their players.

“Then surely Lukaku and Lautaro are the most dangerous who are keeping the shack up, but there is also a lot of quality in Barella’s feet.

“Inter have a very strong squad, but Lazio are now playing better as a team” declared Wilson.

Inter will most definitely face a challenge when they welcome Lazio to the San Siro this evening as the Biancocelesti arrive in fantastic form.

The Nerazurri will be heading into the game disappointed with their last outing in the Coppa Italia however will be confident in their own ability to continue to pick up points in the league.

Inter can now turn all of their attention to the Scudetto charge with no other competitions to compete in and will be hoping to make a positive start this evening with a victory over Lazio in the San Siro.
